Alta is one of the most beautiful yachts in the Galapagos, she is ideal for travelers who seek exclusivity and uniqueness. Each cabin has their own private facilities with fresh, hot and cold water showers. The main salon is very elegant and inviting.

At mealtimes, there are two alternatives: inside, in the dining room, which seats sixteen in four tables, or "al fresco", on the foredeck. The gourmet galley is equipped to prepare the finest dishes. Alta offers many spots for relaxing or sun bathing, including a sundeck with lounge chairs just forward of the bridge or on the bow of the yacht.

When the conditions are appropriate, the sails will be hoisted and Alta will become the most beautiful yacht in the Galapagos.

Itinerario

Day 1 Quito

Upon arrival in Quito you will be transferred to your hotel. If time permits you may be able to arrange for a tour on your own of Quito’s neighbourhoods and museums.

Day 2 Quito

Today you will enjoy a guided city tour of the cobblestones of colonial Quito and a visit to the Middle of the World monument. For an additional fee you can visit the famous Otavalo Market. (B)

Day 3 Quito - Galapagos

Following an early breakfast, we transfer you to the airport for your flight to the Galápagos Islands stopping briefly in the coastal city of Guayaquil. The turquoise blue water surrounding the coast is visable from the air, and it’s not long after passing through Park Inspection at San Cristobel that you will be crossing from shore to reach your yacht and home for the next week. While settling into your cabin and surroundings, you will meet your guide and crew, and then set out on your first landing: Playa Ochoa. (B, L, D)

Days 3 thru 10 - Galapagos Islands Cruise

Islands visited include; San Cristóbal , Tower, Isabela, Fernandina, Bartolomé, Santiago, Santa Cruz and Española. (B, L, D)

Day 10 - Galapagos - Quito

After a final morning visit to a landing site, our cruise comes to an end and we return to port for the return flight through Guayaquil and on to Quito. Transfer back to your hotel. (B, L)

Day 11 Quito - Home or Next Adventure

Today you transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)

Package Details

Price: 11 days / 10 nights from $3,495 per person for tours in 2007 (add $200 for trips in 2008 and 3% if paying with a credit card)

The above adventure price is for groups of 2 or more and includes:

• All hotel and/or cruise accommodations (double occupancy).
• Additional fees apply for single occupancy or holiday departures.
• Meals as indicated in the Itinerario (B: breakfast, L: lunch, D: dinner).
• All sightseeing as shown as part of an open group (private tours available)
• Services of local professional Guías.
• Airport transfers.

Personal expenses such as beverages; lunch or dinner (unless in the Itinerario); laundry; travel insurance; excess baggage fees; communication charges; international airfare; domestic airfares to Galapagos (aprox.: $390); airport arrival and/or departure taxes; entrance to Galapagos National Park (aprox.: $100/pp); cost of obtaining passports or visas; gratuities to Guías; and any other expenses not stated above.
