CUSCO - 104 KILOMETER WIÑAYWAYNA

Transfer from the hotel to the train station. Train to KM 104. At this point we start trek for 3 hours approximately to the well preserved remains of the ruins of Wiñay Wayna (2900 mts. altitude).
On the way we can see beautiful waterfalls. After lunch, we have the rest of the day to explore the ruins with its houses, terraces, towers and local museum. Dinner and camp. (L;D).

WIÑAYWAYNA - MachuPicchu

After breakfast we have an early start an will walk to Inti Punku, the Inca gate of the sun, from which we will have our first view of Machu Picchu. We cross the ridge that leads to our destination, and one of the greatest archaeological discovery of modern times is revealed.
After a guided tour of Machu Picchu you will have plenty of time to look. The train, departing from Aguas Calientes station will take us back to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.
